Most financial aid and scholarships, including HOPE, Pell Grant, and Zell Miller, are applicable to GT study abroad programs.  For details on how aid applies for summer program, please visit Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Visit the Office of International Education for study abroad scholarship information.

Program Charge:

The program charge for 2020 is tentatively $5,000. The program charge covers such expenses as housing, field trips, ground transportation, campus facilities usage, and health insurance. Airfare and tuition are not included in the program charge as well as expenses for food and personal travel.  Program charges are payable through OSCAR.

Please visit the Dates and Deadlines page for payment due date information.
*Georgia Tech reserves the right to alter the program cost due to currency devaluation or other unforeseen circumstances.

Airfare:

Participants are not required to fly with the group. If, however, they choose to do so, group airfare usually runs from $2,000 to $2,500.

Tuition:

All students pay in-state tuition (see Bursar for rates).  All students are required to pay the GT technology fee and the USG institutional fee. Tuition is due to the Bursar’s Office, per their deadlines.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

If you wish to withdraw from the program, you must file a signed cancellation form with OIE. Withdrawals requested after January 15, 2020 and on/before March 15, 2020 will be eligible to receive up to 60% refund of the program fees paid or due up to that date (not including non-refundable deposit). After March 15, 2020, there will be no refund and you will be responsible for 100% of the program fee associated with the GT ISYE Summer Program in Asia(except for tuition, which is refundable as specified in the Summer OSCAR).
