Most financial aid and scholarships, including HOPE, Pell Grant, and Zell Miller, are applicable to GT study abroad programs. Program Charge:
2026 program charge will be $4,000.
The following information is provided only as an estimate of costs associated with participation in the Georgia Tech ISYE Summer in Asia Program. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 (applied toward the program fee) is due within one week of acceptance. The remaining program costs—including tuition, fees, and additional charges—will be billed to your Georgia Tech student account. Full payment is due prior to departure.
Program Fee: ~$4,000
The program fee covers housing accommodations, field trips, ground transportation, campus facilities usage, and health insurance. Airfare and tuition are not included in the program fee, nor are expenses for food and personal travel. Program charges are payable through OSCAR.
Airfare: ~$2,500–$3,000 (Not Included in Program Fee)
Students are responsible for arranging and paying for their own international airfare to and from the program. A group flight option may be offered separately for students who wish to travel together, but this cost is not included in the program fee.
Books and Course Materials: ~$100–$300
Includes required textbooks, lab materials, and other course-related items.
Estimated Personal Expenses: ~$4,000–$5,000
These non-billable expenses vary by student and may include:
Meals not covered by the program: ~$700
Personal transportation and incidentals: ~$400
Personal entertainment and shopping: ~$600
Independent weekend travel (including optional trips to other countries): ~$1,200–$2,200

Airfare:
Participants are free to book their own airfare once a window of arrival has been communicated. Airfare usually runs from $2,500 to $3,000.
Tuition:
- Tuition is assessed based on residency, matriculation term and program type as outlined on the following page: Financial Information & Resources | Office of International Education. Tuition rates are posted by the GT Bursar for students based on term, level of study and degree.
Other expenses to budget for (estimates):
Passport: $165 USD
Singapore Student Immigration Card: 60 Singapore Dollars (approx. $45 US)
